We had Ashley and Chad's wedding this weekend and it was awesome! Getting there, well....Stew was on call 8-5 this weekend. On Thursday he found out their only patient was going to be done and he would be free for the whole weekend and we could all drive together. He was a little torn on whether to go Friday night because what if he got called? Well he decides to risk it and gets a call when we are just to Ankeny, so small change of plans. We turned around and dropped him off at home, he ended up coming Saturday after he worked and had to come right back Sunday morning for another procedure. We both had to drive. Oh well, I was glad he made it at all.
The wedding itself was very nice, very much the bride and groom. Bode did pretty good, we had to leave the ceremony a few times but I could still see and hear. He just wasn't too into sitting still. The reception was fun, great food and music. We ended up leaving a little early since Stew had to get up for work and I wasn't feeling great, but we had a great time!

i am seriously starting to look into cabins for next year already. you can be certain it will be the first or second weekend in october. make sure to tell all you friends they cannot get married that weekend!!
