We took advantage of the warm weather yesterday and went boating after work. It was great! The lake was smooth and we all enjoyed it. Jennie came with and took 117 pictures, no I'm not kidding. I have 1 that Jennie took with my camera before the battery ran out. As soon as we could see the lake Bode perked right up. He had the death grip for some of the ride, but other parts he was king of the sea! There were a lot of birds out as well.
We had a pretty fun weekend too. Mom and Larry came down Friday. It was Larry's birthday on Saturday. Becky came over Saturday while Al and Josie went to the ISU/UNI game.
They left pretty early Sunday and were heading for South Dakota. We didn't do much on Sunday, a trip to Menards for a few odds and ends and then Jennie and Sean came over and Sean and I whooped up on Stew and Jennie in cribbage. We took awhile to get the momentum going, but then we were unstoppable!
Looks like we have another beautiful day ahead. Enjoy it!

i wish...we are heading the hawkeye game on saturday. a little pre-anniversary celebration!
it's HOT out today! like 90!
So much better yesterday than today. WOW!! We wanted to take the waverunner out but figured the water was too cold. Maybe we should have gotten a boat too! :)
You just got the kinks worked out this summer. Next summer you should be ready to go!
