We just got home from our summer trip back to Iowa. We started by flying into Des Moines where we saw some friends and Boone got to meet some family around there. We had Bode's first (of many) birthday parties and then headed to Muscatine on Saturday. We spent a few days there playing with our nieces and nephews and catching up with Stew's family. Then off to Spencer to spend time with my side of the family. We managed to go to a water park, miniture golf, play at the beach and go for a boat ride, with a ride on the tube. We also met 3 new babies that have have arrived recently.
I am tired just recounting the week! We are going to wind down and enjoy the weekend before I go back to work on Tuesday and Boone starts daycare : (
