Finally!

Nothing like a little emergency oral surgery to kick off our weekend! I must start at the beginning....
Our first trip to Florida together (about 5 and half years ago) Stew got a blizzard at the airport. He bit into a frozen M&M and one of his teeth (that had not seen a dentist in 12 years) broke! It was jagged and totally cutting up his tongue. So he went to a dentist, had a cleaning and they filed it down for him. They also request that he come back for a overhaul. Good one!
This summer I was getting ready to leave Allied to student teach and also leave my great dental benefits, so he agreed to go in and get some work done. A cleaning, 7 cavities, a root canal, a crown and an appointment with the oral surgeon was quite enough. He decided he had enough done, he was not going to have his broken tooth or wisdom teeth extracted until absolutely necessary.
Today came absolutely necessary! After a sunflower seed incident, he had his broken tooth extracted by 10:00 this morning. The drugs are doing their job and we are hoping for a quick recovery.
