We had a little more exciting weekend than last. My parents made it to Des Moines after a 5 1/2 hr drive, the roads weren't great and they probably had no business coming but I'm glad they did anyway! We took Becky and Bode shopping for their wedding outfits for Sheila's wedding in May, a flower girl dress for Becky and a tux for Bode. They had a hard time not checking themselves out in the mirror, pretty cute. Then we got to go to Chicago Speakeasy before mom and Larry went back home that same night! Larry had to be in Minnesota to pick up a snowmobiling buddy to head for the Black Hills and mom had another option for a ride home on Sunday but was too worried about Larry driving by himself. It was really good to see them and get my birthday cake!
Sunday right after getting up, Bode and I were playing and heard the toliet in our bedroom kept running after I had flushed it. Well, it overflowed! Not that much water on the floor and Stew fixed it. When he went downstairs to get a part we didn't use on the last toliet malfunction, he noticed a piece of ceiling tape hanging down in the 2nd bedroom downstairs. After further investigation he found all the water that had run over came through that ceiling and soaked up into the bed, what a mess! After the last toilet overflow we got a new floor, after this one we may get a new ceiling. Maybe we need to start renting again.

If it doesn't fall apart first! No one think is we are getting better at home improvements, this is just our practice house anyway.
