This weekend Bode and I went to Spencer. We had a shower for Sheila at my mom's house. We had a great trip with the exception of the last 30 minutes of the car ride home. Bode was tired hungry and had developed a fever. We got home and he ate a little and went to bed at 7:20. He didn't wake up until almost 9 this morning, another fever and not quite himself. We are hoping it's just a bug and not more ear infections, he just finished his 2nd antibiotic and we have an appointment with an ENT on Thursday. We will probably be doing tubes....finally!
Stew didn't go with us since he was on call. And so the ongoing battle with our plumbing continues. On Saturday night, he got up for a drink of water (after being asleep for awhile) and turned on the faucett in our bathroom. The handle blew off and water was flying everywhere! His first instinct was to cover it with his hands, didn't work out so well. He got the water off and remebered that last time that bathroom flooded, so did the bedroom below it. He ran downstairs and got the bed into the hallway. By the time we got home, the faucett was fixed, water cleaned up and bedding and towels were even washed and dried.
