Meeting the neighbors
We have 12 house on our street so decided we would have a little gathering to meet our neighbors. We put fliers in the mailboxes last Sunday and did not put an RSVP on them. We made a bunch of food and were going to have a little open house from 3-5. By about 3:30 our kitchen was full! We probably had about 20 people, all but 3 houses came, and it was a great time. Great people ranging from retired couples or singles to younger families. One of them has a 12 year old daughter who loves to babysit, SCORE! It went better then we expected and we our feeling even a little more connected to our new home.

Sounds like F-U-N!!! Glad you guys had a good turnout, good neighbors are a blessing for sure! Glad there are some nice people in your neighborhood you guys will be able to get to know!
