Boone just turned 2 a couple weeks ago, and he is SOOOO 2! He is the most persistent child I have ever raised. I guess that is not saying much since I only have 1 other. : ) Boone is not a pleaser, he has his own agenda, and does things because HE wants too. It is very frustrating in the moment. However, he does seem truly remorseful when he gets into trouble, or he can tell we are upset with him. That being said, he is becoming quite familiar with time-outs and they are effective. My best description of him is a 6 year old trapped in a 2 year old body, and he just wants to be able to do everything his brother does.
He is also the cutest thing in the world. Curls and dimples...oh my! He is so fun, and has the best belly laugh. He adores his brother, and us most of the time. He is very smart and likely a child prodigy. : ) He can count to 10 and sing his ABC's yet he still eats some baby food. That is Boone, one extreme or the other. I do not think he gets that trait from me!
Boone has definitely challenged our parenting. He is his own person and makes it known. I love this little guy so much and can't wait to see what this year brings.

You'll get no argument out of me about the cuteness and curls...dimples and all!! He IS a doll! Love his spirit and know when directed properly over the years he will be one amazing little and grown man... It pleases me so to see him love Bode and want to do everything with him... hold on to these "two" year old days.... they go SO fast! Can't wait to hug you again sweet boy!! Love you so much!!! :)
