We had a GREAT trip back to Iowa! We left on Monday, the day after Christmas, and flew into DSM. We stopped at Balderson's and were able to see them as well as Grandpa Tommy and Kent. Then we headed to Spencer. The kids had a rest and were ready to play by the time we got there. Mom and Larry had a big dinner and a houseful of company. We rested, relaxed, played, and ate for 3 days and then headed back to DSM. We both got to see some friends and Becky too.
Had 1 night there and then made our way Muscatine. 3 more days of relaxing, eating, not as much rest, and little more to drink! Spent New Years Eve playing games and rung in the New Year with Stew's family. Bowling, football, and a little napping on New Years Day and then back home Monday.
Thank you so much to all of our family that always makes our trip so special! You feed us, lend us vehicles, rearrange your schedules to see us, and just make us feel loved.
