Ready or not Kindergarten...here I come!

Bode was a little nervous for school this morning, but did really well going. He is doing before and after care at Boone's daycare. So this morning I took them both and he decided he didn't need me to wait until he got on the bus, he would be fine. Had a good day at school. Made a friend in his class named Mark, had some lunch, played with a couple friends from pre-school at recess and got back on the bus to head to after care. Stew was waiting excitedly at the bus stop to hear all about his day. 13 kids got off and no Bode! Stew was having a bit of a panic attack and I'm sure he was much more composed than I would have been. They called the school and he got on the wrong bus! Luckily, they do not let the K and 1st graders off at a bus stop unless there is an adult to pick them up. So he rode the bus back to school and by the time he got back, Stew was there to pick him up. Apparently his teacher told us the wrong bus # and wrote it on his pick-up card. Thankfully he wasn't scared, and told Stew that he knew it was the wrong bus. The daycare said if Stew had not been there, they would have gone to pick him up. Kind of an exciting end to an exciting day!
